Promotions within the store are a great way to increase additional purchases through multi-buys. You can easily setup promotions within Idealpos on as many items as you wish throughout the store. Idealpos also has interfaces to Liquorfile and IBA which can automatically import promotions based on group advertising for different brand specials.
Why not include coupons on your receipt for the next time your customers visit or to entice them to visit your store again? This is easy to do in Idealpos and you have the ability to add images and barcodes to your receipt for simple redemption.
You also have the option of printing out product signs complete with an image and the promotion to highlight the product in-store.
Customer Display
Showcase your specials right in front of your customers as they make their decisions. Images can be set to scroll through a folder of pre-prepared images showcasing what you want to sell quickly.

Idealpos utilises an iPhone app to allow you better management tools for the serious side of your business, stock control. With Stock Manage you are able to perform a stocktake on all your locations, transfer stock between locations, receive items into stock and assign barcodes to all items.
If required you can use a scanning device by Linea Pro which gives your phone extra functionality. This scanning device is not required, but it is if you want to scan all your items.

Idealpos supports up to 18 different two-way interfaces to EFTPOS Terminals for Australia, New Zealand, U.S. and Canadian markets.
By connecting your EFTPOS to your Point of Sale System, you help eliminate operator error by sending the sale and cash out amount to the EFTPOS terminal. The EFTPOS terminal will connect to the bank and upon approval will return an approval response so that the operator is able to finalize the sale.
Having an integrated solution will also speed up the transaction as the operator doesn’t have to enter values into a pin pad and deal with multiple receipts.
Dry Cleaning Services
Dry cleaning is a service style of business instead of a more traditional sales style. Garments are brought into the premises where they are repaired and/or cleaned. Customers then return to collect their garments after a set amount of time.
Keeping track of what garments belong to which customer is very important. Idealpos’ strong customer accounts function helps ease the pain as each sale is linked to the customer.

Customer Accounts
Customer accounts are very important to dry cleaning businesses as they rely on linking the customers to the garments. Of course, this can be done with a simple ticket number, but if you can have the customer’s name instead, and track their spending, then you can target your services better to those who need it.
Customer accounts also allow you to get in touch easily with your customer if an issue arises with a repair or the cleaning required. At other times, you might have to send a reminder to a customer to collect their items.
The most important thing customer accounts can do for your business is keep a record of all transactions with that customer, allowing you to view service history and offer discounts to your most loyal. It’s easier to keep a customer then get a new one!
Pickup Date Function
Customers like to know when they are able to pickup their goods. By default, we set the pickup to 3 days, but this can be changed when selected, as some might be required in 24 hours. The date will print out on the customer receipt and all the document tags for each item needing to be cleaned.
Stock Garment Tags
Each garment that is given to the cleaners needs to be returned. When items are added to the sale, they are already pre-programmed with the number of tags that will print for them.
A three-piece suit will print three tags for each item, whereas a pair of slacks or a dress will only print one each. The receipt will show the total number of garments in the order which can all be verified when the customer comes to pick them up.
Barcode & Label Printing
Regular customers can benefit by using a customer card which is locked to their account. Cards can have a barcode printed on them which can be scanned and they will instantly be added to the sale.
You can also include barcodes on receipts and coupons to offer your customers special deals on return visits.
Gas Stations
Idealpos has the ability to offer a professional and integrated solution for gas stations that also want to use the Idealpos Point of Sale System. Many systems cannot integrate between the services that are required in these unique environments, but the solution provided by Idealpos can do just that and more.
Although it seems like a simple thing, to put a POS System into a fuel station, it is anything but. Gas stations on their own require professional and regulated equipment that performs time and again with repeated use, usually by the general public who give no thought to how fuel is delivered, stored, supplied and equated.
At the same time, being able to run a gas station that sells more than just fuel, from hot pies, cold drinks, ice cream, newspapers and other grocery type items, requires a specialized Point of Sale system that can handle it.

POSTEC Fuel Console
Fully certified integration with POSTEC software and dedicated interface. POSTEC software controls the fuel pumps of gas stations. The interface allows Idealpos to connect to the Fuel console to retrieve the gallons of fuel used.
Idealpos is programmed with the price per gallon, so when the fuel pump number is pressed on the console, the amount in gallons is transferred to Idealpos, and the dollar amount is automatically calculated.
Gilbarco T24 and FC6000 Compatible
While we highly recommend the installation of the fully integrated system using the POSTEC console, this is not always possible for various reasons. Idealpos is able to be used with the Gilbarco T24 and FC6000 fuel consoles through a serial modem link cable.
The Gilbarco T24 and FC6000 integration is an easy connection solution using existing fuel console hardware. While the grades are set in the terminal, the sale needs to be finalized and sent from the console to the Idealpos system manually using the console keyboard.
Customer Accounts
Customer accounts can be used to offer your local customers an easy means of paying which allows them to finish their transaction quickly. This will allow you to track their sales and offer loyalty rewards if you wish.
Many gas stations will also have a lot of repeat business from local business operators requiring fuel and other items for their fleet of vehicles. Using Sub-Accounts, you can have a Master Account that is setup for the business as a whole, with each sub-account keeping track of each vehicle or employees transactions.
